W. Tenney Brown

William Tenney Brown, age 83, of Catonsville, Maryland, died Sunday, July 8 at St. Agnes Hospital in Catonsville.  Tenney was born on February 15, 1935 in Washington, DC.  He graduated from Florida State University in 1957, served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960 and was employed for 35 years by the U. S. Department of Defense at the National Security Agency.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judith E. (Moorehead) Brown; he is also survived by his children Stephanie H. Rauen and her husband, Mark, and Edward T. Brown and his wife, Erica, his grandchildren Jason W. Rauen, Amanda L. (Rauen) Brown, Kari G. Brown, and Ava E. Brown, and great-grandchild Gavin S. Brown.

   A memorial service will be held at the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center (St. John United Methodist-Presbyterian Church) on Saturday, July 21, at 1 pm at 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia, MD.
