He spent the last 6 years of his career at Baltimore Polytechnic High School in Baltimore teaching and coaching football. His football record at Poly was 47-17 including 4 wins over their rival City College.
While his success on the field was without question Coach Wrenn was a leader, mentor, and a father figure to the East Baltimore community that he served.  He knew how to motivate, get players to believe in themselves, and instill in them responsibility and discipline.  Numerous former players are now in the coaching field spreading the life lessons they learned from Coach.
