Patricia Pule-Beyer Obituary

Patricia Kahalaopuna Pule-Beyer, 80, died Friday, February 10th, 2023, at her Pasadena home, with her family and close friends by her side.

Kahala was born September 7, 1942, in Baltimore City, Maryland, to Ehu H. Pule and Emily J. Murphy Pule.

Kahala married George R. Beyer on August 3, 1957. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage. They were blessed with six children: Patricia, Carolyn, Michael, Timothy, Richard, and George.

Kahala was a devoted mother. After raising her children, she worked for Westinghouse Defense Center, and retired from Johns Hopkins University as a Benefits Analyst.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring family: her children Patricia (Frank) Anderson, Carolyn (Douglas) Schopman, Timothy (Kimberly) Beyer, Richard Beyer, and George Beyer; her 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Margaret Pule Ellis; sister-in-law Maryjane Byrum; brothers-in-law Ralph, Steve, and Richard Beyer; Cousin Lyman Pule; and a host of close relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband George, her son Michael, her daughter-in-law Kimberly, her granddaughter Melinda, and her brother Anthony Ehu Pule.

True to her Hawaiian culture, the way of Ohana best describes her life. Always a baby in her arms, and endless time for grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Her home was a place where family gathered, and those without family were welcomed.

In the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there. Loving you always, forgetting you never.

Visitation Friday, March 17, at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am, St. Joseph’s Monastery Catholic Church, 3801 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229.

For those unable to attend, Patricia's Memorial Service will be live streamed from St. Joseph's Monastery's Facebook Page.
