Linda Bayer Obituary

On May 29, 2020 Linda Lee Bayer was called home to be with her late husband and son. She was 75.

Linda was born on October 6, 1944 to Charles and Mary Jane Fishbaugh in Baltimore, Maryland. Linda is survived by her loving children, Theresa Lynn Schilling (Edward W. Schilling, Jr.) and Joseph Edward Bayer, Jr.; her sisters Shirley Smithers, Sharon Otto and Lois Rebetsky. As well as her adoring grandchildren, Edward William Schilling III (Erin) AKA Pop's favorite, Michael Joseph Schilling (Johane), Taylor Nicole Schilling, Candace Bayer, David Bayer, Jr. and Jason Bayer; great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kellen Calvert. Including her devoted shih tzu, Lily. Along with many other loving family members and friends.

Linda was predeceased by the love of her life, Joseph Edward Bayer, Sr. As well as her loving son David Edward Bayer, Sr. (Stephanie) and her parents Charles and Mary Jane Fishbaugh.

Our Mom Mom was generous, passionate, fiesty and strong willed. She was the type of storyteller you could listen to all day. She showed us what it meant to be a mom and a grandmother. Even during her illness, you could catch her sticking her tongue out at her grandson, showing us that no matter what was going on we still had our fiesty Mom Mom. Her family meant the world to her and in a lot of ways she showed us what family truly means.

In the end, her wings were ready but our hearts were not. We know she's watching us from heaven with Pop and David by her side. This goodbye is not forever, its just until we meet again.

For those wishing the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Due to current restrictions, services and interment will be private.
