On February 4, 2024, John Joseph Migliore, 84, passed away with family by his bedside. He was the son of the late Harry Migliore & Frances Migliore (nee Russo). John was the loving husband to Linda Migliore (nee Bierman) & devoted father to John Joseph Migliore, Jr., & Kimberly Anne Cressotti (nee Migliore) and her husband Tony. He was the cherished grandfather to Angela English & Anthony Michael Cressotti, and Maria Linn & John Joseph Migliore, III.
First Lieutenant John J Migliore served as a platoon leader in the Military Police Corps, Company A, 503D MP Battalion. Due to his leadership during the Oxford, Mississippi (Operation Rapid Roads) and the Birmingham, Alabama crises, he received two Certificates of Achievement for his outstanding service. Lieutenant Migliore's initiative, judgement, and disregard for personal safety contributed immeasurably to the successful suppression of mob violence and reestablishment of law and order.
