Jeannette Superczynski Obituary

Jeannette Marie Superczynski (Rabbitt) passed peacefully in her home on April 7th 2021, after celebrating Easter Sunday at home with her family. The Baltimore native, Ellicott City resident, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was 86. A devout Catholic, she had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother. She loved to bake with her family, and loved hosting for the holidays. She enjoyed travel, and her favorite destinations were Poland and New York City. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Superczynski, beloved children Jacqueline McGrail (Superczynski) and Jonathan Superczynski, beloved sisters Patricia Rukowicz and Barbara Watson (Rabbitt), loving brother Anthony Rabbitt, Jr., and parents Anthony Rabbitt, Sr. and Anastasia Rabbitt (Sapliway).

She is survived by her grandchildren Lindsay Superczynski-Matthies and her husband Jeffrey Matthies, and Elizabeth Superczynski, a daughter-in-law Sandra Superczynski, one sister Gloria Weber (Rabbitt), a brother-in-law Theodore Rukowicz, and nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Friends may call at the Candle Light Funeral Home on Monday April 12th from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  at St. Mark Catholic Church 10:00am Tuesday April 13th.

The family wishes that any charitable contributions be made to The Catholic High School of Baltimore, Mount Saint Joseph High School, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
