Helen Decker Obituary

Helen Louise Martin Decker passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at the age of 96*. She outlived her loving husband, Robert J. Decker, Sr., two of her children, Robert J. Decker, Jr., and Elizabeth A. Fultz, and all six of her siblings. She will live on through her daughters, Mary M. Grant, Barbara J. Boone, and Janet L. Decker; her grandchildren, David Beaudoin, Nicolas Grant, Lauren Grant, Jessica Rigney, Sarah Fultz, Caitlin Webster, and Jack Averill; her great-grandchildren, Deirdre, Decker, Casey, Rémi, Isabella, Andrew, William, Helen, and Millie; and nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were all fortunate enough to have known her.
Helen lived through the Great Depression, WWII, and sixteen presidents. She was born before the discovery of penicillin and her childhood home in Baltimore City didn't have indoor plumbing, but she lived to see a man walk on the moon, the invention of the Internet, and so many other things that were still never as amazing as her. She leaves us with a legacy of strength, courage, and love, and she will be greatly missed.
*39 in Mom Mom years.

In lieu of flowers contributions the family suggests contributions to St. Elizabeth's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
