Ginny Bradford Obituary

Virginia “Ginny” Bradford, of Catonsville, Maryland passed away on April 29th at her home. Ginny was born in Staten Island, New York; beloved daughter of Natalie and the late Ronald Sullivan of New York.  She is survived by son Steven, daughter Kimberly and former husband Tony Bradford.  As well as by siblings Raymond (Noreen) Sullivan, Diane Tudor, and Patrick Sullivan plus eleven nieces and nephews.

Ginny graduated from Susan E. Wagner High School in Staten Island, New York in 1975.  Worked various jobs in the New York City area including Special Education Instructor and Wall Street Analyst.  In 1982 Ginny married Tony Bradford and relocated to Haddonfield New Jersey.   Ginny Worked at Stock Broker EF Hutton in Cherry Hill NJ and Bancroft School in Haddonfield NJ.

Ginny moved to Jacksonville FL in 1983 and welcomed her son, Steven. In 1985 the family moved back to Marlton New Jersey and welcomed her daughter, Kimberly.

Ginny moved to Catonsville in 1987, where she flourished in the community, taking roles as Preschool President, PTA President, Girl Scout leader, Cookie Mom and Swim Team Volunteer.  She enjoyed meetings with her “Sit & Stitch” Group.  As the children grew and moved out, Ginny was an active volunteer with The Concert Artists of Baltimore, Hippodrome Theater, Everyman Theater and Lurman Woodland Theater in Catonsville.  Also a member of the Columbia Ski Club social group.

A gathering of friends will be held on Wednesday May 8th from 6-8 pm at Candle Light Funeral Home in Catonsville
