Gary Good Obituary

Gary Earl Good was born in Liberal, Kansas on August 2, 1940 to Dr. Earl and Hortense Good. He passed on December 7, 2020, he was 80.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gretchen Pankratz and Gloria Pittman.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia B. Good. As well as his loving children and step children, Courtney Good, Chatham Barnett, Kristyn Stricker and Sean Martin. Also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Chloe Riven, Izzy Riven, Kate Stricker, Andrew Stricker, Taylor Martin, Susannah Martin, Jack Barnett and Mallie Barnett.

He graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and received a law degree from the University of Baltimore.  His entire working career was spent at the Social Security Administration.  Gary was very involved in the activities of all the Episcopal churches where he was a member in Maryland, South Carolina, and Florida.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ellicott City, MD. The family has requested that charitable donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or to St. John's Episcopal Church.
