Dennis Horsmon Obituary

Dennis H. Horsmon was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 28th, 1946 to Herbert and Margaret Horsmon. He passed peacefully on September 14th, 2021 at the age of 74.

He is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his loving wife, Dorothy (Dottie), and his children Melissa and Michael. He is also survived by his sister Susan and grandchildren, Gabriel, Kylie, Ella, Abigail, and Savannah. His loss will be felt by many nieces, nephews, and other caring family and friends.

After graduating from the University of Baltimore, Dennis was stationed at the National Security Agency while serving in the US Navy for 4 years. Following this service, he began a career with the Social Security Administration, where he served as a case manager for 30 years until his retirement. During his retirement, Dennis was able to focus on spending time with his family and friends, as well as traveling and he was an avid Ravens football fan. 

Friends and family may visit the Candlelight Funeral Home by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville on Friday September 17th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. With a Funeral Mass taking place at Saint Agnes Catholic Church Wednesday, September 22nd at 9:30 AM. Inurnment immediately following at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park.
