David Anderson Obituary

David Jonathan Anderson passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the age of 41.  He was the son of Kevin Charles Sr. and Marta Isabel.  Dave is survived by his spouse of 8 years, Amy Church Anderson.  Dave is also survived by his two sons, Louis Charles Anderson and Colin Turner Anderson.  Dave was a beloved brother to Kevin Anderson, Meredythe Anderson, Martin Anderson, Ian Anderson, Linsy Schilling, son-in-law to Deborah D’Elia and the late Alvin Church, brother-in-law to Laurie and Michael Booth and Eric and Monica Church, grandson of Henry Schilling, dear uncle to Delia Ruby Booth, and both Gio and Gianna Terneus, and loyal companion to the family’s golden doodle, Ziggy, “Dave’s baby.”

Dave was a devoted husband and father.  You could always catch him at his sons' events cheering them on from the sidelines or the audience.  He dedicated his life to his wife Amy and his boys, Louie and Colin.  He worked hard to support and take care of the people he loved.  Dave loved his friends.  Dave was a true Baltimore guy.  He was a lifelong Baltimore Ravens fan, and an avid Fantasy Football player.  He shared his passion of football with his eldest son, Louie who recently grew to learn and love the players and positions. Baseball was another hobby that excited Dave.  He took pride in his Baltimore Orioles.  Whether he was sitting at home watching the game or down at the Yard, Dave loved everything about baseball.  He shared this fondness with both of his boys on and off the professional field.  On sunny days, Dave made sure it was a day for Opie's ice cream, he loved taking the boys there.

He was a fan of Metallica and recently developed a love of Country music.  He was a kind and gentle soul, who enjoyed traveling, especially to Puerto Rico and on the Disney Cruise Line with his family.  Also, he loved spending time down Ocean City with Amy, the boys, Mrs. Deb, Laurie, Mike & Delia.

His wonderful spirit, smile, and talents will be remembered and celebrated on Friday August 16, 2019 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Candle Light Funeral Home located at 1835 Frederick Road Catonsville, Maryland  21228.
