Daniel "Big D" Shettle, Jr. Obituary

Daniel "Big D" Joseph Shettle, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 26, 1952 to Daniel Joseph Shettle, Sr. and Evelyn A. Shettle (nee Reisler). He passed on March 6, 2021 he was 68.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Joseph Shettle, Sr. and Evelyn A. Shettle.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Michael Shettle, Howard Shettle, Charles Shettle, Peter Shettle, Mark Shettle, Mary Ellen Frederick, Julia Martin, Maureen Shettle, Jane Leahy and Ann Andrew. Including 17 nieces and nephews along with 22 great nieces and nephews. 

Daniel loved going to the Colts games in his "Colt Bus", had a love for cars and was well known for driving everyone around in his limo.

Family & friends may gather at Candle light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228 for a public visitation on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. William of York Catholic Church, 600 Cooks Ln., Baltimore, MD 21229 on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Moreland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.

 *Due to restrictions from COVID-19, please have a face covering/mask on at all times while in our building. In addition, with current regulations, the Funeral Home is at capacity with 75 guests inside. Please keep this in mind and keep your visits with the family brief, if there are other guests waiting to enter the Funeral Home*
