Conrad Ordakowski, Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Conrad Francis Ordakowski Jr (90 years old) on 9/10/22. Conrad's wish was to be surrounded by family for as many days as he could. He said when he opened his eyes, he wanted to see everyone around him. God blessed him with two and a half days with this vision.
Conrad was born in Baltimore Nov 4,1931 to Conrad and Hilda Ordakowski Sr. He is survived and will be cherished and missed by his devoted wife for 67 years, 9/4/56 Miriam J. Ordakowski, his brothers Don Sr (Barbara) , Bob (Diane) and sister-in-law Jeannette. As well as his children Tracey Leeann Rohrback and husband David, Conrad Francis Ordakowski III and wife Lisa, and Kurtis Kendall Ordakowski. Conrad was also an amazing Poppy to Gretchyn (Mike), Ashleigh (Pat), Jordan (Sam), Conrad, Josh, Dyan, Eben and Vaughn. He was blessed with 3 Great Grandchildren Aurora, Cooper and Kendall.
Conrad served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He was stationed in Texas sent to Germany while most of his company was sent to Korea. He was honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States of America December 3,1952.
Conrad had many jobs before he found his passion. On 12/3/62 he became a Baltimore Sun Route Owner. The Baltimore Sun career was 24/7 commitment but he rarely missed sports events for his kids or grandkids.  He serviced the Catonsville area (60 years) until the day he passed.
Conrad was committed to the Lord and his family. He was a man with kindness, compassion and no faults, only blessings. If you knew him, you loved him. His athletic ability and competitiveness shines through his entire family no matter what sport or activity they choose. His competitive nature will be his legacy in all of us - he always said you don't compete to LOSE. He was and always will be our HERO.
