Brother Charles M. Cully C.F.X. was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 26, 1944 to Peter and Katherine Cully. He passed on January 11, 2021, he was 76. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Peter.
He is survived by his brother, Br. Thomas Cully C.F.X. of Freehold, NY. Including many other nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Brother Charles entered the Xaverian Brothers congregation in 1961, obtained a B.A. degree from The Catholic University of America, and served at St. Joseph Prep in Bardstown, KY, Flaget and Trinity High Schools in Louisville, KY, before serving at Mount Saint Joseph since 1997. He was a math teacher, coach, and most recently took up the humble position of managing all the athletic equipment. Winning the Ryken Award and being named an Honorary Alumnus, Br. Charles was deeply loved by this community. And he loved The Mount back with everything he had. He will be greatly missed.
