Victoria Aldona Galkus

Victoria A. Galkus, 88, of Ellicott City, Md. passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vytautas Sakalauskas, and by her second husband, Anthony Galkus; and brother, Edward Jurqelaitis. She is survived by her daughters, Violeta Weaver (Randy), Vida Uebel (Jerry), and stepdaughter, Barbara Galkus; grandchildren, Mario Stephens, Daniel Weaver (Tatiana), Kelly Weaver, and Andrew Joseph Uebel; great-grandchildren, Noah, Mia, Skyler, Levi, and Riley; her cousin, Danute Milas as well as her nieces and their families.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends and countless lives she touched.

Family and friends may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday, July 9, 2026 for a Memorial Gathering from 3:00pm-5:00pm, with a Memorial Service to begin at 4:00pm. A Celebration of Life dinner will follow at 5:30pm at Matthews 1600 (1600 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228).
