Thomas Francis Campion

Thomas Francis Campion (Toto) (82) went home to be with the Lord August 21, 2016. He died peacefully at his Ellicott City, Maryland home. Tom was born February 22, 1934 in Williamsport PA to Leo and Naomi Campion. He graduated from Harrisburg Catholic High School in 1952 and Mount St.Mary’s College in 1956. September 3rd 1955 he married the former Lucile Mariette Tourney in Harrisburg PA. Tom was a veteran of the Korean war, and began his insurance career at Insurance Company of North America. He later became a co-founder of Consolidated Insurance Center. He has many years of experience in producing and managing commercial and personal accounts, many quite large. Tom loved work and worked until the day he died. His other great love was family. Nothing made him happier then spending time with his family. Thomas is survived by his wife Lucile Mariette Tournay of 60 years; his son Michael Patrick Campion and his wife Sally Northam Campion of Stevensville Md and their children Nicholas Northam and Emily Wright Campion; And daughter Monique Tournay Whittleton and her husband Geoffrey Thomas and daughter Gabrielle Tournay Whittleton. Tom is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Hinnenkamp and her children Geraldine, wife of Bruce Gaston of Denver, PA,  Lawrence, husband of Antonia (Genoese) Hinnenkamp of Lancaster, PA., Kathleen Hinnenkamp, companion of Melvin Perkins of Anchorage AK, Stephen, husband of Celeste (Roberts) Hinnenkamp of York, PA, Mark, husband of Stephanie (Lombardo) Hinnenkamp of Vienna, Va, Paul, Husband of Joan (Moranz) Hinnenkamp of New Orleans, LA, Richard, husband of Catherine (wagner) Hinnenkamp of Lancaster, PA, Joseph, husband of Beth Ann (Schmitt) Hinnenkamp of Lancaster, PA and David, Husband of Julie (Smith) Hinnenkamp of Lancaster, PA and 22 beloved grandchildren. In the end he was surround by many family and friends able to converse one on one with all.
