On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Steven Dennis Rellihan passed away. Born to Charles Rellihan and Zenobia Rellihan (nee: Altland) on Friday, September 8, 1950; he was 75.
Steven is survived by his wife, Elaine Rellihan (nee: Hodgson); children,

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his daughter, Elissa Rellihan Ruppert.
Steve grew up in Catonsville, Maryland. In his early years he was an avid Cub Scout and Boy Scout and earned an Eagle Scout designation before his 13th birthday. He enjoyed sports and played baseball and soccer on rec teams and at Catonsville High School. He attended college at University of Miami, University of Maryland and Towson University. After college, Steve decided to go into residential construction, and after working with several experienced contractors, he started his own company. Steve’s true talent for craftsmanship can be seen throughout the communities he loved. From his time in Catonsville to the Delaware beaches where he retired, his work quietly shaped the spaces around him. He possessed a rare eye for both design and functionality, paired with an unwavering attention to detail. Through the beautiful structures he built, Steve not only left a physical mark on his communities, but also left a lasting impression of care, precision and pride. His work stands as a testament to his skill and the special touch he brought to everything he created.
Steve also had a passion for sports. He was a dedicated fan of the Ravens, the Maryland Terrapins and the Orioles. He loved to coach and spent many years coaching his four children in baseball, softball, soccer and basketball. After moving to Delaware he helped his daughter coach girl’s lacrosse.
His strongest role, however, was as a loving husband and father. He loved his family and always put them first. He was blessed with ten grandchildren. Steve was a man of deep faith and enjoyed reading his bible and discussing scripture. He will be greatly missed.
