Rosalie Elizabeth McGuire

Rosalie Elizabeth McGuire was born in Maryland on January 20, 1940. She passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Rose Ruskey; and dear siblings, John Cook, Jr. and Mary Labrador.

Rose is survived by her devoted husband, William McGuire and her loving children, Mark McGuire (Susan McGuire), Michael McGuire (Celeste McGuire) and Julie Corcoran (Scott Corcoran). Rose was also the cherished grandmother of Scott McGuire, Matthew McGuire, Kaitlin Thompson, Jeffrey McGuire, Emily McGuire, Justin Corcoran, Megan McGuire and 9 adored great grandchildren. Including many special nieces and nephews. The loss of Rose will be felt by many other caring family and friends.

Rosalie cherished her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother. Her spirit will forever live on in the stories shared, mahjong games played, and the love she fostered within her family.

In this time of remembrance, we honor Rosalie’s life — a life rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of calling her family and friend.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. Visitation will be also be held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in the Charlestown Retirement Community, 711 Maiden Choice Ln. Catonsville, MD 21228, on Friday, February 20, 2026 with Mass taking place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 6020 Ritchie Hwy., Baltimore, MD 21225.
