Ronald Roy Cain, known as Roy, passed away at the age of 85 on June 23, 2025. He was born to Lewis Norman and Sylvia Cleo Cain on May 6, 1940, in Darlington, IN. He married Charlotte Lorraine Holland on January 19, 1964, and they were married for 58 years. Roy served in the United States Army and retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1978. After retiring from the military, they settled in Catonsville, MD.
He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Lorraine Cain (Holland), his parents, Lewis Norman and Sylvia Cleo Cain, and his siblings, Russell, Norman, Harold, Marcella, Mable, and Jeannetta.
He is survived by his daughters, Ronda Ann-Cain Stepler (husband: Ty, children: Jarret, Danielle) and Ramona Denise Rabenhorst (husband: Brandon, children: Emily, Jack Parent), sister Patricia Porter (Mike), brother Lewis Norman Cain, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228, for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
