Robert Christopher Gibson

Robert “Bobby” Gibson, of Catonsville, passed away peacefully on June 22nd 2026 at the age of 53, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 13, 1973 to Michael Gibson Sr. and Esther Margaret (Snyder) Gibson.

Carrying on Bobby’s memory are his devoted parents; his loving brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Shelly Gibson; his beloved children, Christian and Carson Gibson; his cherished nieces and nephews, Alexis Gibson and her husband Will Greenwell, Kari Gibson, Lacey Ford-Jones, James, Adrianna and Anthony LaFortezza; his caring aunts and uncles, Frank and Carol Snyder, Janet Snyder and her husband John Lasek; his dear cousins, Julie Snyder, Kellie James, Frank Snyder Jr. and Stacie Snyder-Decker; along with many other extended family members, and treasured friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Bobby’s happiest moments were often found in the kitchen, where his love of cooking reflected the care he showed for others. He loved watching the Food Network for inspiration, proudly cheered on his Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, and counted down the days until autumn and Christmas each year. The changing leaves, holiday traditions, and time spent with family were among his greatest joys.

Though Bobby’s chair at the table is now empty, his love for family, great food, and Baltimore sports will forever be part of the stories shared around it. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered,and forever carried with us.
