Family and friends may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 for a Visitation from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm-7:00pm, with a Funeral Service taking place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 10:00am at Candle Light Funeral Home. A second Visitation will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, MD 21536. Burial will immediately follow at Grantsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Richard’s family requests that donations be made in his memory to Deer Park Bible Church (1950 Deer Park Road, Finksburg, MD 21048).
