Patricia Ann Askew

Patricia Ann Askew was born in Maryland on December 7, 1943. She passed unexpectedly on July 3, 2025 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Helen F. Harms, as well as her brothers, Albert J. Harms and William H. Harms, III.

Patricia is survived by her loving sons, James Askew and his partner Wendy Farthing and Stephen P. Askew and his wife Joni Diedrich, her daughter-in-law, Gina Askew, and her adored grandchildren, Demi Askew, Zoë Askew, Hayden Askew, Aloise Diedrich and her husband Chengcheng Gui, and Roxanne Diedrich. Her loss will be felt by many other caring family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to NESAP (Northeast Social Action Program).

Family and friends may gather for a memorial on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 30 Melvin Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. Interment will be private.
