Mary Anne Walsh

Mary Anne Walsh, of Catonsville, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2016.

She was born on July 19, 1949 to Maurice and Margaret Walsh. She attended Mercy High School (class of 1967) in Baltimore and graduated from Mount Saint Agnes College in 1971. She recently retired from the medical field after a long and enjoyable career.

Mary was a fiercely loyal and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and was a very active member of the Catonsville Senior Center after she retired. She also enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors at the center and loved playing Mahjong with her friends any chance she got.

Mary is survived by her husband, Richard Roy, her sons Bryan Sheppard (wife Tina), Michael Sheppard (wife Dayna) and Rick Love, grandsons Andrew and Joshua Sheppard and Nathaniel Love, and her sister Marguerite Walsh (husband Bernie Finn) and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Wednesday September 7, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Candlelight Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland 21228.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care in Mary's name.
