Mary Agnes Veronica Bierley

Mary Agnes Veronica Bierley, 85, passed peacefully on September 17, 2026. Born on November 13, 1940, to Joseph Lamartina and Veronica (Budny), Mary lived her life with a heart deeply rooted in family.

Living in Baltimore and the surrounding area her whole life, Mary graduated from The Catholic High School of Baltimore in 1958. After graduation, she worked as a teller for various banks including Union Trust, Signet, Mercantile, and PNC Bank. Over the course of her successful career, she became a branch manager and vice president, earning awards for her success from the Crofton Chamber of Commerce.

She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Joseph Lamartina, Stephen C. Lamartina and wife Ellen (Snookie), and her sister, Mary.

She is survived by her daughter Veronica (Roni) and her husband, Kenneth, her son William (Bill) and his wife, Meghan. She had 5 grandchildren, including Kevin and his wife Alexandra (Aly), David and his husband Matthew (Matt), Liam, Makaila, and Hunter Joe. She also had 2 great-grandchildren, Cecilia Adele and Josephine Veronica. She will be missed as Mom, Nana, Aunt Mary, Cousin Mary, and many other names.

Family and friends may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home (formerly Candle Light Inn) Monday, September 21, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark Catholic Church Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11:00am, followed by interment at New Cathedral Cemetery.
