Lata Bhaskar Patil, 73, of Ellicott City, Maryland, passed away on November 5, 2025. Born in India to Keshavrao and Jaidevi Deshmukh, she is the 11th of 12 brothers and sisters. Lata is survived by her loving children, Vrushali Patil (Edward Hinkle) and Prachi Dumas (Larry Dumas); and cherished grandchildren, Emmett and Beatrice. She is preceded in death by her devoted spouse, Bhaskar.
A private funeral service will take place. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations in Lata’s memory to the South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network (SAMHIN).
