John "Jack" Fromm

Fromm, John J.

On October 24, 2025, John J. (Jack) Fromm, 76 of Cockeysville, Maryland, passed peacefully away.

Born March 9, 1949, in Baltimore, MD, Jack was the son of the late John Paul and Rita Marie (nee Moran) Fromm, loving brother of Mary Patricia Ball and her husband Robert, the late Timothy George Fromm and his wife the late Pamela, Rita Mary Fromm, Michael David Fromm and his wife Geralyn, Vincent Paul Fromm and his wife Elizabeth. He graduated with a B.A. degree from Loyola College and worked for Noxell Corporation/Proctor & Gamble as a mechanic and an IT specialist. After retiring from Proctor & Gamble, He volunteered his IT skills at Irvine Nature Center in Ownings Mills, MD. Jack was blessed with a beautiful voice and musical talents that were recorded on an album called LISTEN LORD when he was the Folk Liturgy Director of St. Matthew’s Parish. He got his private pilot’s license early in his adult life with a dream of building his own plane, which he eventually did after his retirement.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service taking place at 1:00 PM at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. Interment following the funeral service at Serenity Ridge Natural Burial Cemetery, 2406 Ridge Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to the Irvine Nature Center.
