Joan Anita Lambertson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Anita Lambertson, a cherished mother, beloved sister, adored grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Joan passed away on April 22, 2026 at the age of 95, she was born on June 24, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Lambertson; her parents, Francis and Ida Mandato; and her brother, Francis Mandato.

Joan is survived by her loving children, Stephen John Lambertson (Wendy), John “Chip” Stuart Lambertson (Mary “Marg”), and Christianne Margaret Adams (the late Charles); dear siblings, Joel Mandato and Rita Bonsall. She was also the cherished grandmother of 11, treasured great grandmother of 18 and special great great grandmother to 1. Joan will be missed by all including many other caring family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Carroll County Food Sunday.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228. Mass will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:30 am at the Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Dr., Ellicott City, MD 21042. Burial will take place at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt View Rd., Marriottsville, MD 21104, immediately following the funeral service.
