James Dinkelman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Russell Dinkelman, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. James was born on April 16, 1929 and peacefully departed from this world on November 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann Peters Dinkelman; his parents, Carl M. Dinkelman, Lillian Dinkelman and siblings, Margaret Stromberg (the late Ted) and Charles Dinkelman (the late Dorothy).

James leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his surviving family. He is survived by his loving children, Michael Dinkelman and Judie D. Greenwood (David). As well as his cherished grandchildren, Joshua Greenwood (Maria), Jacob Greenwood (Allie), Zachary Greenwood (Olivia), Katie Pruett (Kasey); and adored great-granchildren, Riley Artes, Lilly Greenwood, Caroline Greenwood, Eliza Greenwood, Felix Greenwood and Russell Greenwood. Including many other treasured family and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church, 2001 Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services taking place at 11:00 AM and interment immediately following at St. John’s Cemetery, 3480 St Johns Ln. Ellicott City, MD 21042.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made In James’ name to a charity of your choosing.
