Helen was born on Dec. 26th 1931 to Leroy L. Steen and Helen S. Steen. She worked as a secretary at T. Rowe Price and later as an interior designer. Helen is survived by her son, Charles Young; her daughter, Marybeth Smith, and her son-in-law, Brendan Smith; her grandchildren, Amy Scheckells, and Christopher Scheckells; and her great-grandson, Layne Lotterer. Cremation followed her death, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
