George John Lakin
October 25, 1934 — August 7, 2016
George John Lakin was born on October 25th, 1934 to John and Eugenia Lakin in Chicago Illinois. He was a longtime resident of Baltimore Maryland; served as an MP in the US army in his youth; and went on to a long career as a merchant in the foods and packaged goods industry. He died on August 7th, 2016 after a long illness, and is survived by sisters Mary Lakin, Elizabeth Rafalides, and four nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit at the CANDLE LIGHT FUNERAL HOME by Craig Witzke, Tuesday 4-7pm. Trisagion Service 5pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 10am in the Chapel of the Holy Resurrection at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery. Interment to follow immediately at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
