Edward Molinaro

February 22, 1952 — May 1, 2025

Edward Molinaro, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 73. Leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and quiet kindness. Born in Catonsville February 22, 1952, to Louis and Mary Marceline Molinaro, surrounded by family, music, and the values that would guide him throughout his life.

He was the cherished brother of Robert, Thomas, Joseph, and his late sister, Mary Angela. From a young age, Ed was drawn to the simple joys of life – making people laugh, strumming his guitar, hunting for antiques, and rooting faithfully for his favorite team, the Baltimore Orioles.

Ed was exceedingly smart and possessed a gift for writing particularly humorous emails. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s Degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Throughout his career in software engineering, Ed approached technology with a sense of curiosity and precision that inspired everyone around him.

Ed had a deep love for animals, especially his loyal dog and spirited bird, who were never far from his side. His gentle spirit and quiet humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Above all, Ed’s greatest devotion was to his family. He was a loving husband to Deborah Thomas, with whom he shared decades of companionship, laughter, and unwavering support. He was a proud and caring father to Andrew, Alec, Graham, and Cara - each of whom carries forward his warmth, wit, and appreciation for life’s small wonders. He was a proud grandfather to Adeline, Bethany, Isabelle, and Ethan.

Edward Molinaro will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, but his presence will forever be felt in the strum of a guitar, a treasured find at a flea market, a baseball game on the radio, and the unconditional love he gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association in his name.
