Donald Louis Reichart

Donald Louis Reichart, born January 9, 1958, in New York City, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2026. Donald started early in life on an adventurous path. He lived briefly in New Jersey, then moved to California, then Fairfax Station Virginia then back to the New Jersey shore and next to Maryland. Later in life he settled in the Clearwater area of Florida.

Donald was a self-employed landscaper who took pride in his work and enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. He had a love for biking and road trips, finding enjoyment in the freedom of the open road and the opportunity to explore along the way. One of his favorite bike trips was the Florida Keys. He'd take a ferry from Fort Myers to Key Largo and a bus to Key West and bike back up to Key Largo. Enjoying every bit of the way. He loved the ocean and swimming which he did whenever he could whether very warm or very cold water. An animal lover at heart, Donald had a special appreciation for animals and the companionship they brought into his life.

Donald was a gentle soul and a devout Catholic who had a deep faith in God.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Malcolm Reichart and Joan Marie Reichart; and his brothers, Charles Reichart, Neil Reichart and Michael Reichart.

He is survived by his brothers, James Reichart (Mary) and Stephen Reichart. As well as many other nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

Though his passing was unexpected, Donald leaves behind memories of a life lived on his own terms, a love for adventure, and connections that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the life he lived and the moments they shared.

A private Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
