Deborah Ann (Tattersall) Cubbage

On August 29th, 2016, Deborah Ann Cubbage went to be with the lord.  Deborah was born on September 10th, 1950 in Baltimore.  After graduating high school, she moved to Columbia, Maryland to start her life and raise her family.  Deborah attended nursing school at Howard Community College while raising a young family and graduated summa cum laude with her RN nursing degree.  She had worked at Howard County General Hospital for a long period of time; as well as other private doctor practices in the Columbia area.  Deborah enjoyed baking, learning about Civil War history, decorating for the holidays, reading, and doting over her grandchildren.  She was a wife to Jerome Cubbage; mother to Aric and his wife Karen Swezy, the late Angela Swezy, and Celena Cubbage and sister to Edward Tattersall.  Deborah had 2 grandchildren, Aidan Swezy and Brandon Darragh; whom she dearly loved.  She joins her mother and father, Hildegard Hardy and Captain Tattersall, and daughter Angela in heaven.  Deborah was loved by many and will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on September 17th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Kent Island United Methodist Church, 2739 Cox Neck Rd., Chester, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Kent Island United Methodist Church.
