Deanna C. Luco

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, Deanna C. Luco went home to glory. Born to George Crutchfield and Frances Crutchfield (nee: Salmon) in Pennsylvania, October 2, 1942. She was 83 years old.

Deanna, also affectionately known by Dena or Dee, is survived by her husband, Leslie Luco; son, Scott Luco (Anne); daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Webel (Karl); grandchildren, Stephen Luco, Jacob Luco (Sarah), Emily Newgent (David), William Luco (Katie), David Luco (Anna), Benjamin Webel, Katharine Webel, and Timothy Webel (Megan); and great-grandchildren, Hailey Luco, Henry, James, and Clare Newgent, Wesley Luco, and two on the way.

In addition to her parents, Deanna is preceded in death by her siblings, Milton Crutchfield, Earl Crutchfield, Virginia Altenburg, Mabel Vogel, Madeline Loane, George Crutchfield, Betty Bathgate, , Doris Hahn, Jeanne Riesett, and James Crutchfield.

Dena will be greatly missed by her family and friends for her loving and kind nature. She enjoyed hand crafting, and often created items as special gifts and to raise funds to support her favorite charity. Faith and family were of the utmost importance to Dena. She had great hope in each day based on the truths in her favorite hymn, “Because He Lives”.

Friends and family may gather at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1905 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:00am, with a Celebration of Life at 11:00am. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at St. Mark's Coakley Room, 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
