Cynthia Marble Herpst

Cynthia Marble Herpst, 70, of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away on July 17, 2026. She was born on December 27, 1955 in New York to Verner and Gloria Marble.

Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Michael Herpst; her beloved daughters, Jessica Herpst Abel (Kevin Abel) and Rachel Kathleen Herpst (fiancé Joshua Goldberg); her cherished granddaughter, Beatrice Grey Abel; and her dear sister, Tammy Baczynskyj.

Cindy was a cherished member of the nursing community, devoting 30+ years to patients treated in The Johns Hopkins Division of Pediatric Oncology.

She will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, and love towards those who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but will live on through our treasured memories and the lives she touched.

The family invites friends, neighbors, and colleagues to a Celebration of Cindy's life on Saturday, August 15th from 1-4PM at their home in Ellicott City.
