Charles Richard Miller, Jr.

Charles Richard “Rick” Miller, Jr., 78, of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. He was born on May 6, 1947, in New York to Charles Richard Miller, Sr., and Marion Miller.

Rick is survived by his loving children, Kenneth Miller and his wife Jennifer, James Miller, and Mark Selby and his wife Kendall; his cherished sister, Lynn Kirkpatrick (Dr. Jesse Kirkpatrick); and five beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Sharon Unitas Miller, and his first wife, Linda Carol Miller. Rick is also survived by his in-laws, Deborah Young and Edward Unitas (Rose). He was the very best Pop-Pop to his grand dogs and grand cats. He also leaves behind numerous beloved family members and friends.

Rick was known for his gentle spirit and his willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends may gather at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a Memorial Gathering, with a Memorial Service taking place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
