On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Carl Stewart McCullough passed away at home. Born to Harry and Elizabeth McCullough (nee: Schelschorn) on Friday, June 30, 1933; he was 92.
In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte McCullough (nee: Williams). He survived by his children, Barbara Hennigan, Steven McCullough (Jacqueline); and Joann Frush (Dave); his grandchildren, Shawn Hennigan, Megan Leahy, Andrew Hennigan, and Alexandra Butler; and his great-grandchildren, John Michael Danna, Sophia Danna, Keegan Leahy, Anna Montemarano, and Beckham Leahy.
He lived his life his own way, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His larger-than-life personality will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Friends and family may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home, Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. A gathering will also take place Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00am, with a memorial service beginning at 10:30. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens following the memorial service.
The family encourages donations be made in Carl's name to the Gary Sinise Foundation; an organization which provides support to veterans and first responders.
