Barbara J Brown, 80, formerly of Fairfax, VA, died after a lengthy illness on the evening of March 10, 2016 at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, Maryland. Barbara graduated from the University of Maryland and was a fashion buyer for Garfinkel's and Neiman Marcus before retiring. She was a first generation American whose parents immigrated from Scotland. Barbara is survived by her niece, Margaret S. Brown, and two nephews, James C. Brown and Thomas D. Brown.
