Mary B. Thompson, 94, of Phoenix, Maryland passed away peacefully on October 26, 2019. She was born November 11, 1924, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Serbian immigrants, Stephen and Katie Bosiak. Mary was the second born out of four girls, known as the Bosiak sisters.
On July 28,1951 Mary married her husband of 66 years, Joseph M. Thompson. The two met at the Canary Cottage on the “Circle”, in Indianapolis and proceeded to build a wonderful life together for themselves and their family.
Mary will be remembered for her time spent at the Hunt Valley Golf Club, both on the courses and in the clubhouse dining, her gourmet cooking, her expert sewing skills put to good use quilting, knitting, and cross stitching She enjoyed traveling with her family both in the US and abroad. What she loved most in the world was her beloved husband, Joe and their two daughters.
Mary is survived by her two daughters Marsha L. Thompson of Catonsville, Maryland and Cindy J. Thompson of Phoenix, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Thompson, her parents Stephen and Katie Bosiak, her three sisters; Mamie (nee Bosiak) Stoshitch, Diana (nee Bosiak) Ulen and Maggie (nee Bosiak) Smith.
